This is one of our favorite places to go for lunch.
One month down and eleven to go! Now I really have to pay attention to the count I can't just cheat by knowing it's the same as the date anymore!

This was taken before our date night. I figured I would try to include at least one self portrait a month.
We went out to dinner at The Machine Shed and then we went to see The Colin and Brad show in Milwaukee. This is our 3rd year going, we love it. If you've ever watched "Whose Line is It Anyway" that is what they do during their show, a bunch of improv games. Very funny!
I just had to get out of the house to find something to photograph today. Even though it was only 10 degrees!! I went for ride with my mom and told her we needed to find something I could photograph from the car because it was too cold to get out and wander around.
I was in High School during the 80s so that decade is a big part of who I am. I don't have much left from that time but I still have my original Rubik's cube along with this book I bought that showed you how to solve it.
Mmmm! Black olives and pepperoni..... my favorite! It's just as good the next morning for breakfast! Please ignore the stray onion in the lower left. I have no idea how that made it on to MY pizza, onions are not allowed.
Tiger with her new clarinet. She's been playing the alto sax since the beginning of the year but has since decided she'd rather play the clarinet. So we discussed it with her teacher and let her switch. We picked up the new instrument today.
She's always willing to pose for me so you may see a lot more of her during the year than my older daughter. Well at least her face......you did get to see Skowt's feet yesterday! :)
Seems my whole family is ready with ideas for my 365 project! Which is just fine with me. My daughter needed pennies for school so my mom dumped her change jar out for her to dig through. Well, they thought it looked cool and couldn't start picking out the pennies until I got my camera out.
It was pretty nice out today so we took a little stroll near this River Walk. They have signs along the way to commemorate a variety of wars.
This is one of my favorite photos of my hubby and kids. No it doesn't show them all lovey-dovey with each other but it is "them". Especially my oldest...."Mom, can you just take the picture already and be done with it?" LOL
And I absolutely love that brick wall!!
We went out for a drive today to see what I could come up with. When we got up this morning all the trees were covered in a layer of frost. It looked really cool.
I asked my 10 year old daughter what I should photograph today. She insisted I take one of this welcome sign we have in our kitchen. Yeah...........I really need to get out of the house for some more interesting shots. I hate winter.
My husband wanted me to get some photos of his project car to send to his cousin. While we were out there I snapped this one of him!
Cake Boss in training! We love that show. She pretty much baked and frosted it all by herself.
A portion of my 'to read' pile.
The problem with taking and posting a photo every day is that there are going to be days where you are stuck for ideas or you don't feel like taking a photo or you aren't really satisfied with how the ones you did take turned out.
This is one of those days. I had no idea what I wanted to photograph. I tried a couple of things that just weren't working. So I settled on this one.
This rose is made out of five $1 bills. I've had it for about 12 or 13 years now. It was part of an employee award I got one month when I worked in a bank as a CSR (Customer Service Rep).
It's been snowing all day so I tried to take some snow pictures. But they all seemed boring to me so I decided to play around with this one a bit.
Out driving today, hubby and I saw this guy cleaning the snow off one of the local lakes. It's right near the recreation center and I think they use the area for ice skating.

This is what my husband brought home last night with the rental truck from the other day. He's had the bug to restore another car for awhile now. He found this car on Craig's list in Michigan so he drove 4.5 hours each way yesterday to go pick it up. He wasn't too happy about the 30 mile stretch where it was snowing and left those nasty white salt marks all over the car.
Wow, I can't believe I've been MIA for over a month! It was not intentional but I'm back and ready to roll.
I'll be attempting a Project 365, one photo a day for the whole year. I'll be putting them all in a smugmug gallery. I may not post them here daily (maybe weekly), we'll see how it goes.
