Project Black, Take 1


This was taken on our zoo trip last week.
It's an African Ground Hornbill.

I took a photo of one of these fellas in our local zoo a few months back. I will not be offering my snap for comparison to yours. Great clarity.

Cool shot! Our son just returned from nine months in Africa and brought back some carved wooden hornbills. Interesting looking birds!

MARVELOUS addition to this week's theme! VERY unusual creature and you seem to have captured a perfect view of him. I've never seen one of these before (and I'm not sure I want to outside captivity!).
