Ground Hog!

Update 8-1-09: I know the title says ground hog....but after visiting the zoo again today I'm thinking this might be a Prairie Dog........or it could be something entirely different, I'm not good with animal names!

Looking through some photos I haven't posted and thought I'd get a new one up here. It's been a while. I need to get out and do some shooting. I really need to try to pick up my camera on a daily basis.

My daughter fell in love with this guy when we were at this zoo and had to put this photo as her cell phone wallpaper. So I decided to use it as her photo on mine......so this is what I see everytime she calls or texts me.

Faces: Week 27 {Feet Week}

I can't believe I'm posting this photo! But my hubby put me up to it and I promised I would. I was trying to think of something different and fun and asked if he would let me photograph his feet. I said something about ours together and calling it "Married Feet" so he insisted we should do it and put our wedding rings on our toes.

I'm entering both categories this week! A first for me! I had all these visions of getting the perfect shot of my daughter playing tennis. Yeah, so much easier said then done!

Faces: Week 27 {Pets}

This week I ♥ faces has a pet category, my first time entering this category. Luckily this time it can be any animal because we don't have any pets to photograph! This is one of my favorite photos I've taken. I took it about a year ago at the Milwaukee County Zoo when they re-opened the flamingo area.

Wow! Week 25 already on I ♥ faces! This week the main contest theme is "Wedding Bells". I haven't been to a wedding in over 10 years!! Luckily they added another "Just for Fun" category! I can do fun!

I took this on Memorial Day this year at what my city calls a parade. It lasted all of a couple minutes. It was a little sad and disappointing. But anyhoo....

I'm sure we'll see quite a few of those for this week's photohunt theme.

Wisconsin Lighthouse {Algoma Pierhead}

Yes, it's June and I'm still posting lighthouse pics from my April trip. But this is my last set from then and I want to get them on here. I'm looking forward to the next time we can go find some more lighthouses!
