Farewell 2010 Tennis Season

The school tennis season ended for my daughter last week.  She is sad to see it go.  I had to send some photos in for a slide show they are putting together for the end of season banquet so I thought I'd put together this collage while I was at it.

I just had to get out of the house to find something to photograph today. Even though it was only 10 degrees!! I went for ride with my mom and told her we needed to find something I could photograph from the car because it was too cold to get out and wander around.

Tennis

This is a photoblog.......maybe I should start posting some photos!

My daughter joined the High School tennis team this year. She really likes it and is doing well. After trying a few different sports and activities over the years, I think she has found her "thing".

Yesterday at the school she played the bleachers to watch tennis were on the outside of the fence which doesn't make for easy photography. So on her first match she played on the court that was back to back with the bleachers for the football field. We were able to get around there and climb to the top to take some shots from above.

I'm entering both categories this week! A first for me! I had all these visions of getting the perfect shot of my daughter playing tennis. Yeah, so much easier said then done!

Project Green, Take 2

I know the majority of this photo is not green but I just really like the color of the green ball. I tried to crop in a variety of ways but I just didn't like any of them so I left it as is.

Project Green, Take 1

I've been surfing around lately looking for other photography blogs. I came across Anna Carson Photography. She has a project going now called Project Green where you post a daily green photo. So I thought I'd give it a try, I'm always looking for ideas and new things to photograph.

I took this one over the weekend before I even knew about the challenge.

I have a couple more I may post but now I need to see what else I can come up with.
