Faces: Week 11 No Flash

Here is my entry for this week's iheartfaces contest in the adult category. This week's theme is no flash. I love this pic of my hubby. But I'm not sure if I like the reflections on his sunglasses and I'm not sure how or if it can be fixed. Any suggestions?

Wisconsin Lighthouse {North Point, Milwaukee}

I was flipping through a Wisconsin Recreation guide a couple weeks ago and there was a section on lighthouses. I thought it may be fun to try to find as many as I could and photograph them. There are a total of 35 listed, some are pretty far north and only accessible by boat so I'm not sure if I'll ever get to all of them, but it will be fun to see how many I can get to. I also found a website that lists lighthouses by state. Looks like there may be few more besides those listed in the book.

We visited the first one last week and have plans to get to some more over the next few months as the weather starts getting nicer. This is the North Point Lighthouse located in Milwaukee.

Faces: Week 9 Creative Crop

Wow, March 10th already and this is my first post for the month. So much for posting more consistantly!

This week's theme at iheartfaces is Creative Crop. Here's my entry in the kids category. A photo of my daughter taken last summer.

Art

This piece of art is hanging in the Midwest Airlines Center in downtown Milwaukee. I took it the same day as the ceiling photo when we were there for the auto show. It's not the entire thing. The sun was coming through the window and there was a funny shadow in the upper corner so I only photographed part of it.

We went to the auto show yesterday and what did I take pics of? The ceiling of course!

Photo Hunt: Nautical

There aren't too many cool bridges in our area but I like this one. I think my hubby does too because of all the graffiti and he's the one that suggested it. We went on a bridge search on Thursday. You can read about the fun we had here.
