View from the Track

From August of 2006. We went to the WI State Fair and they were parking cars on the track. The kids (and hubby) thought it was pretty cool to be driving on the race track. I'm sure if there weren't other cars directly in front and behind us hubby would have been more reckless.

I'm guessing it doesn't have quite the same effect as when there are thousands of fans in the stands.

I'm really slacking on this blog! I really should post more often, I've got enough pics and always taking more. I'm in the process of going through them all for my cafepress store and my stock photo site so as I do I'll start posting some here.

This was taken a couple summers back while visiting my brother.

My husband used to drive this old mail jeep for his route. I think the neighbors are glad that this "eye sore" is no longer parked in the driveway.

Moon

No, I didn't get any shots of the moon during the eclipse. I need to practice those night shots some more. This one was taken about a week ago at around 3:15 in the afternoon.

Holy Hill

Thought I'd share a pic I took the other day of Holy Hill. Not sure what hubby and I were thinking though, going out in sub zero temps! It was cooooold up there!

I'm ready for spring

I know it's still a long ways off, but we've had a few warm "teaser" days this past week and it just can't come soon enough for me.
