Photo Hunt: Water

Wow, I'm really late with my photohunt today. It's been a bad photo week for me. Haven't even posted here since last Saturday!

I took this today at one of the many lakes in the area. We walked around a boardwalk on the edge of the lake. Wish we had a boat to go out on it! My hubby would love a sailboat.

Photo Hunt: Emotion

This is my daughter's "mad" face, when she doesn't agree with what I'm telling her. She was upset because I told her to leave froggie alone.

I don't know about you but in this one I think she looks more like she is gonna bust out laughing. Usually it's a little more mean looking . Maybe it's because I was trying to get a picture of it.

Afternoon Moon

I love when you can see the moon during the day.

We have a cardinal that has been visiting our neighborhood the past few days. I tried to get some pics this evening but nothing good. As soon as I do I will share here.

Froggie

First I just want to say thanks to all that stopped by while I was participating in Anna's Project Blue. I appreciate all the nice comments people left for me. I also found some great blogs that I hope to continue visiting. Anna's final blue post will be tomorrow night, I look forward to her next project and hope to be able to participate again.

Tonight I thought I'd introduce you to one of my daughter's new friends. This is Froggie and he's been hiding out in our yard and window well for the past couple days. He was joined by another frog today which they named Frogger.

I'm really wishing I had a macro lens. I really had to crop the heck out of this photo!

Project Blue, Take 4

Each day I've been wondering what I will do for my next blue, worried that I won't have anything, but something always seems to come up (at least so far). Last night we went to Culvers to get something to eat. If you've ever been to one or visit their site you'll see that blue is their color of choice. I didn't have my Digital SLR with me so I used my other camera I carry in my purse to get a few shots. Not many since my kids were dying of embarrassment!

We walked over by their outside tables that have umbrellas above them. For this I just put it on the table pointing up. My daughter wanted to get going. "Mom, it's just and umbrella!"

Then she saw it on the computer when we got home. "Wow! That looks like a star."

See, it's not always JUST an umbrella!

Project Blue, Take 3

I have this glass displayed in my computer room. I got it in Las Vegas about 6 yrs. ago at a show we saw called EFX at the MGM Grand. They had a special drink you could order that came in this souvenir glass you could keep. The MGM logo is on this side and the other side had the name of the show. Those are streamers in the glass. They fell during the finale of the show so I picked up a few to put in the glass. They came in handy when taking the photo. I used them to hide my reflection in the glass! The beads are from another festival I went to for a concert a few yrs. ago.

Project Blue, Take 2

My hubby suggested I photograph his jeep for my next entry. I took several and this is my favorite. I liked the way the sun and clouds reflected in the window.

Project Blue, Take 1

Anna started a new project last night. This time it's Project Blue! I had this photo in mind to post first. I have no clue what I will do for the rest! Though I plan to continue with it and then try to start posting here on a somewhat daily basis. We will see.

Update: A few people have asked what this is. I never really explained the photo, sorry. This was taken over Memorial Day weekend at the resort/water park we stayed at. It's one of the water slides from below. It's been a busy day. I will be back later to check out other's entries.
