I know I've shared a couple pics of my youngest here. So I thought it would only be fair to post one of my other daughter too. She hates having her picture taken, but I usually get great shots of her when she lets me.
This critter was on the side of our pool about a week ago. I've never seen anything like it. So of course I had to go grab the camera. It hung out there for quite some time. Anyone know what it's called?
I know, I've been MIA the past couple days of Project Black. Been in a little bit of a blog slump lately.
My daughter saved all her Christmas money, bday money and allowance money to buy her own Nintendo DS. She didn't want any of the fancy colored ones. She just wanted the plain black.
This is one of lights above the local high school tennis courts where my daughters take lessons. We've been spending a lot of time there this summer. They are both doing great. I wish I would have stuck with it in High School but I sprained my ankle before the first meet and quit.
You can still join in. Check out Anna's blog for all the details
This year I finally got some fireworks photos that I'm happy with. I took my tripod this year for longer exposures and was able to catch multiple bursts. I used the self timer to keep from shaking the camera. The only problem is the self timer on the camera has a 10 second countdown so it's kind of hit and miss if something goes off at the right time. A cable release is now on my list of things to get!
I wasn't sure all week what to do for pointed. But then we took the kids to the zoo the other day and saw these guys. Not sure what types of rhino they are (forgot to look). We were all kind of amazed at the size of the horn on the one to the right. I guess I didn't realize they could get that big.
