My daughter's favorite color is green so of course she had to have the green ipod with green earbuds and the green glucose monitor. She also sleeps with this green "squishy" pillow on her bed.

Project Green, Take 2

I know the majority of this photo is not green but I just really like the color of the green ball. I tried to crop in a variety of ways but I just didn't like any of them so I left it as is.

Project Green, Take 1

I've been surfing around lately looking for other photography blogs. I came across Anna Carson Photography. She has a project going now called Project Green where you post a daily green photo. So I thought I'd give it a try, I'm always looking for ideas and new things to photograph.

I took this one over the weekend before I even knew about the challenge.

I have a couple more I may post but now I need to see what else I can come up with.

Signs of Spring

Finally a nice day yesterday. Should be nice all week! Yay!

Went walking in a park yesterday and snapped a few of these birds. Not sure what kind they are. Anyone know?

Looking for food

Taken in May 2007 at Milwaukee's lakefront. These gulls are all over the place.

Local Church destroyed

Yesterday there was a big gas explosion in town that unfortunately destroyed a local church. Here is a photo I happened to take last September of that church.


Here is a photo I took today. All that is left standing is the bell tower. This is from the opposite side. They had the street along the front blocked.
