This photo is a little older and was actually taken in the summer of 2008.

I recently created a smugmug page (Lynn's Photo Booth) where my photos will be available for purchase. I will also be putting any portraits I do there so clients can view them and order any prints they want directly from smugmug. Anyway, I am just experimenting posting to my blog using a photo already uploaded there. I'm also trying to get organized and figure out what I want to do.....I must have accounts at at least 5 different photo sharing sites and I want to cut that down. I feel like my photos are all over the place!

Portraits

A couple weekends ago I got to drive down and do some family photos for my friend Amy. It gave me a chance to practice on someone besides my own family!

Cloudy

I'm a sucker for cloud photos and trying to capture cool shots of them. This was taken last month when we took another "lighthouse run". I have some lighthouse photos with great clouds in the background from that day. I'll be sharing them over the coming days as I try to post daily for November!

Oh, I wish I were an Oscar Mayer Wiener!

My husband noticed the Wiener Mobile at the grocery store down the street from us a few weeks ago. So he headed back home and "borrowed" my camera without my knowledge while I was a work to get a photo! I had no idea until a few days later when I was using my camera for something else.

He is soooo lucky he didn't bring any harm to my "baby"! He knows I'd freak out. I don't let just anyone touch my camera :)

Faces Week 38 {Blue}

Botanical Gardens

Yesterday hubby and I went to some nearby Botanical Gardens. It probably is not the best time of year to go. Many of the plants were dying and turning brown but I still got some good shots.

This last one is probably my favorite of the day.

Faces: Week 35 {Back to School}

It's been a few weeks since I entered.

This year my oldest started High School. I was so not ready for this! While taking a few pics on the front porch before school, dad had to get in on the action. She was trying to pose for me and had no idea he was making bunny ears behind her head.

Tennis

This is a photoblog.......maybe I should start posting some photos!

My daughter joined the High School tennis team this year. She really likes it and is doing well. After trying a few different sports and activities over the years, I think she has found her "thing".

Yesterday at the school she played the bleachers to watch tennis were on the outside of the fence which doesn't make for easy photography. So on her first match she played on the court that was back to back with the bleachers for the football field. We were able to get around there and climb to the top to take some shots from above.
